Prayer (Salat), the central act of worship in Islam, extends beyond its spiritual function and plays a significant role in promoting psychological well-being, fostering moral and spiritual intelligence, and shaping a balanced personality. This study re-examines the relationship between prayer, moral intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and psychological purity while explaining the psychological and educational mechanisms underlying these associations. Using a descriptive–analytical design based on library research, the study draws upon Islamic sources, scholarship in the psychology of religion, and relevant scientific literature to examine the multidimensional effects of prayer. The findings indicate that when performed consciously, consistently, and with sincere spiritual presence, prayer enhances self-awareness, self-regulation, responsibility, and emotional management while reducing anxiety, increasing inner peace, and facilitating moral and spiritual development. Furthermore, sustained communion with God through prayer promotes the integration of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions of personality, thereby strengthening moral and spiritual intelligence and contributing to psychological purification. These findings suggest that prayer should not be viewed solely as an individual religious obligation but also as a comprehensive developmental practice that supports psychological well-being, character formation, and a faith-oriented lifestyle. Consequently, prayer may be regarded as a valuable component of religious education and an effective resource for promoting holistic mental health
